PhaseStrong

Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-10-01

About this policy

Some US states — such as Washington (My Health My Data Act), Nevada and Connecticut — have special rules for "consumer health data". This policy explains, in one place, which health data PhaseStrong handles, why, and your rights. It applies to everyone who uses the app, wherever you live, and complements our Privacy Policy. PhaseStrong is offered by Andre Luiz Ferreira De Jesus Filho, a private individual based in North Carolina, USA (Troutman, NC 28166, United States).

Health data the app handles

What you enter yourself: period dates, cycle length and hormonal contraception; daily check-ins and symptoms; life stage (pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding, menopause); age, height, weight and body measurements; and your workouts, food diary and goals, as far as they reveal something about your health. The app does not use your location, your microphone, Apple Health or Health Connect.

Where it comes from

Only from you — what you type or choose in the app on your phone. We do not buy health data or receive it from anyone else.

Why it is used

Only to adapt your training and nutrition to your cycle and life stage, on your phone, and to show you your own history. Never for advertising, never to build profiles for others, never for anything you did not ask for.

Where it is kept

Only on your phone, in the app's encrypted database (in the App Store / Google Play version). It is never uploaded to us or to any server — we do not have a copy. It leaves your phone only when you decide: an export file you share, workout events you add to your calendar, or a shopping list you save to Reminders. Your phone's own backup can also keep an encrypted copy in your own Apple or Google account (on by default; you can turn it off under Your data & privacy) — we cannot access it.

We do not sell or share it

We do not sell your consumer health data and we do not share it with anyone — no advertisers, data brokers, analytics or other companies. We do not use geofencing. If that ever changed, we would first ask for your separate consent (and, for any sale, your signed authorization, as the law requires).

Your rights

You can confirm whether we handle your consumer health data and access it (export it as JSON or CSV in the app), delete it (Settings → Delete all my data), withdraw your consent, and ask who it was shared with (nobody — it is not shared). You can do most of this yourself, instantly, in the app. For any request, write to support@phasestrong.app: it is free, and we answer within 45 days (at most 45 more when necessary, and we tell you why).

If we say no: appeal

If we refuse your request, we tell you why. You can appeal by replying to our answer, or writing to support@phasestrong.app, with "Appeal" in the subject within 45 days. We review it and answer in writing within 60 days, explaining what we decided and why. If the refusal is upheld, you can contact your state Attorney General (for example in Washington, Connecticut or Nevada).

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that affects your health data, the app shows the new version and asks for your consent again before anything new happens.
